Okay, get your spoilers down below.
This season’s premiere, School Daze, opens with a brief follow up on the aftermath of the events of The My Little Pony Movie. Squeezed into this barrage of exposition is a magnificent little moment so brief and so subtle that if you blink, you just might miss it.
I originally covered this a bit in the previous post, but I've been doing some thinking and I want to get more in depth with it.
"Good morning class."
This year...
The eighth season of a five-year tale.
"My name's Professor Balance..."
Starring the mares you love...
"But you can call me the Guy Dating Your Principal."
...And the stallion less love.
After watching a released animatic on youtube from season eight of My Little Pony, I have decided to come up with a prediction based off it. Since it's about the next season and has major implications, I'm counting it as a spoiler. As such, don't continue if you don't want to know.
I just took this screenshot of a scene from the Season 8 episode "A Matter of Principals". Starlight kinda actually looks like Twilight!
Okay, again, talking about the finale. Spoilers, etc, here's your one chance to leave.
“You’re going to need a bigger plumber.”
So the cat's out of the bag, and a bunch of leaked pony material has flooded the Internet. I shall now give my opinions on these, even though I know maybe three other people read this blog, and that’s being very generous.

The greatly coveted time has come at last. The next season of MLP:FiM begins. And now, with its premier, we have two new episodes. Enter School Daze, Part One and Part Two. If you read the title, then you clearly know this is a review. Let's get on with it, then...
And it's not hard to see why!
